Who we are

NIK Painting and Decorating Ltd was established by our director Nikolay Georgiev in 2015, After spending the previous two years as a sole trader the company began to be considered one of the best decorating contractors in the south-east.

With over 15yrs of experience in the trade Nikolay started as an apprentice and worked his way up, from travelling abroad and working in Paris, France, US and Bulgaria he picked up new skills and ambition.

This pushed Nikolay to start his spraying journey when he decided to work and living in the UK.

As the company grew, so did the team and the projects. We are now considered a top commercial and new build contractor for developers and builders alike, ranging from multiple plot sites to one-off luxury new build homes.

NIK Painting and Decorating ltd strive to give a finish that our traditional competitors cannot beat, by using dustless technology, waterborne products and airless spraying equipment.

The company is growing rapidly every day and our main aim is to become one of the biggest contractors based in the south-east.

Why Spray Plastering?

Ready-mix plasters are a rapid, cost-effective alternative to traditional plaster for finishing walls and ceilings. Machine plastering is up to five times faster than traditional plastering methods and gives a superior result allowing us to complete large projects in a fraction of the time taken using conventional plastering techniques.

The spray plaster material boasts fire, acoustic and thermal properties that exceed traditional plasters and can be applied directly onto surfaces that would normally need a primer.

Speed - Up to 5 time faster than traditional plastering

•             Fast applied system – up to 1.000m2 per week can be finished by a two-man team.

Mess free - Material is pre mixed and packaged with no water required

•             Supplied pre-mixed for spray application. There is, therefore, no need for on-site mixing thus reducing mess and the need for an on-site water supply.

1% waste - Excess material is recycled and used again

Superior finish - Surfaces are sanded to a smooth White finish making it almost snag free

•             Can be decorated after only 24 – 48 hours

Versatility - Material can be applied to a variety of backgrounds including, plasterboard, pre cast concrete and previously plastered surfaces

•             Can be used on thin joint block systems, precast panels, aircrete panels, concrete, brickwork, composite boards and refurbishment over previously decorated surfaces.

•             Different finishes available: flat & smooth, textured, leathered, combined or rollered

Finish – using our systems, products and methods we can create a finish that is far superior than those able to be achieved using traditional methods. By spraying woodwork, furniture and doors will can achieve a near factory finish every time. 

Time – By using the spray machines we reduce the time we spend on site by more than half and avoid the “jumble” of contractors on the project at the same time. We split our projects into  “phases” and only come on site at the most productive time and the main reason for this is so trades can complete their work without us in the way and reduce the damage caused to our work.

Products – we test numerous paints for durability, coverage and touch up ability. We regularly test new products that come onto the market and will use the best paint that gives us all of the above. At the moment we are using paints imported from Finland which help us achieve a great finish that ticks all the right boxes. 

Pricing off architects plans – We are able to give clients a ball park figure by using architects plans before the build commences. Once the shell is up and plaster boarding starts then we can do a site visit and give a fixed cost that is only subject to alterations and additions.

Communication – we keep in contact with contractors prior to starting on site. We give timings for each of the phases and will turn up when the site is ready for us. This helps to eliminate any extras being charged because other trades will have a chance to complete or make any changes before we paint the next phase.

Team – we have a great team who work really well together. We take on staff based on personalities and train them to be great painters/sprayers. You will have a main point of contact on site and a team dedicated to giving clients the best finish in the best possible time.
